Ashlyn Ford is a professional stage, film and commercial actress, and as well as a singer and multi instrumental musician who loves to share her gifts and talents with others.  She began singing at age five and followed with piano lessons soon after.  She has since picked up the guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele and steel pan.  She spends her summer performing at local music venues and is always ready to lend her voice to organizations in need of a national anthem performer.

She was first bitten by the acting bug at the young age of seven when she was cast in her first community theater production, Les Miserables’, as Little Cosette.  From that experience came a deep passion and interest in acting that has culminated in 29 stage productions to date, including two professional productions and multiple lead roles.

 One of her favorite and most memorable stage roles of her youth, was that of Annie.  Her performance in Annie, won her the 2018 Robidoux Resident Theater Ruby Award of 'Best Performance by a Youth'.

Most recently she had the opportunity to take on another dream role of hers, as Regina George, in Mean Girls the Musical. Mean Girls was hugely successful and was selected to perform at the 2024 International Thespian Society STATE Conference. It also went onto win 'Outstanding Overall Production' at the 2024 Blue Star Awards ceremony at Starlight Theatre.

 

To date, she has completed work on four feature films. Christmas at the Chateau and Accidental Family are both available on Amazon Prime. 

Her most recent feature film, Wholesome Grove premiered in March 2024. It was selected for the Kansas City Film Fest International and won 'Best Heartland Feature Narrative'. You can find it on Amazon Prime, and Tubi TV.
